FAQ

We believe that to achieve sustainable agility, organizations need competent agilists at every level and across all disciplines. Imagine having not only knowledgeable, but also competent agile professionals in development, testing, coaching, engineering, etc. Our goal is to help professionals go on a learning journey that leads to mastery in their discipline of choice.

The beauty of ICAgile's roadmap is that we created it with more than 60 global thought leaders. We didn't want to just create a set of certification topics. Instead, we asked a fundamental question, "What does someone need to learn to become an agile expert in a particular discipline?" We gathered agile thought leaders from around the world and facilitated sessions to unearth the answers. The group developed over 500 learning outcomes covering eight different agile disciplines. Teams from throughout the international community volunteered countless hours to build the most comprehensive set of agile learning outcomes to date. Without their passion and dedication, none of this work would be available to the community today.
The learning outcomes in our tracks are methodology-neutral. The roadmap's design intentionally focuses on starting with an agile mindset opposed to on any particular methodology or framework. This empowers every organization to leverage the roadmap and customize its agile processes and practices to meet organizational realities as they evolve. In addition, the learning outcomes are regularly reviewed and modified based on feedback from students, trainers, and the agile community, to ensure cutting-edge skills and knowledge are taught.
