The DevOps Track explores the change in mindset and process from traditional approaches, much more so if the organization is not already embracing Agile principles. The organization must adopt a collaborative approach that brings everyone involved in delivery together, not just Development and Operations.  As one of ICAgile's most technical and hands-on learning tracks, the knowledge-based certifications on this track are Foundations of DevOps and Implementing DevOps. Once learners obtain this foundation upon which to build competence, they can apply for the coveted ICAgile Certified Expert in DevOps (ICE-DO.)

This track is developed for: 
Relevant roles include Developers, Testers, Operations leads and team members, Managers, Agile Coaches, or anyone aspiring to these roles. Also, anyone with a curiosity about the case for and potential of DevOps will benefit from the Foundations of DevOps course.  Professionals involved in hands-on DevOps implementation will benefit most from the Implementing DevOps portion of the track. Those who wish to build deep practical competence and differentiate themselves from their peers in the DevOps space should pursue the competency-based expert certification.

 

DevOps Track Certifications

To qualify and apply for the competency-based ICAgile Certified Expert in DevOps (ICE-DO) certification, you must earn both knowledge-based certifications, Foundations of DevOps, and Implementing DevOps on the DevOps track.

The Case for DevOps

DevOps is the extension of Agile principles beyond the delivery of software by including the operations team in the process from the beginning.

Organizational Context

There exists a conflict between development and operations that must be overcome through collaboration, processes, and tools. 

 

 CI/CD

Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery are core to the DevOps philosophy. This track focuses on proven techniques to move  towards these goals.

Operations

Virtualization and cloud computing are critical to managing operations in today's rapidly changing technical environments. Explore leading edge methods.
